Budgies...

Me realizing that I just finished writing out an almost 500 word message, with about 12 links, to someone who was wanting to learn about budgies... in less than an hour

Yeah she was nearly three when we got her, had been a breeder, was not socialized and had been in a kennel all her life. She's doing remarkably well but would not go out without me for the first 4 months we had her. Success can be small victories.

Some breeders are just cruel. She is in good hands now!

Hopefully I will. Between 5 different lenses and 3 (I think) filter things YouTube is going to be my best friend for a while lol.

Yeah she's definitely enjoying life. I don't think they were intentionally cruel... just ... negligent.

Thank you. When his barking gets out of hand, I use a shaker can. It's an empty water bottle with dry beans in it (just a handful). I shake it to make a noise. If he doesn't stop, I throw it at him. He's been beaned with it, but not intentionally, so he respects it. I threw it once and he kind of walked into it. I couldn't hit him on purpose if I tried, and I wouldn't! You can't aim these things, lol.
