Anyone with sheep?

Aw such beautiful sheep!

I like the colours used on their wool for showing. Even though it's tradition, I think it does really help them stand out.

Like with cattle and heavy horses which are shown, they use a certain spray on their coats before showing and ruff up the fur rather than having it brushed flat. I guess it gives them more 'volume' over their muscles.

I'm at an agricultural show at the start of next month showing my Silkies so there is no doubt I will see plenty of these sheep there!

How many sheep do you have and do you show them regularly? :)

My show season for the sheep is just finished last week , as it’s now our breeding season...I would show sheep at about 10 shows each year , this year only managed 5 but we did better than I’ve ever done.

It’s the same as we oil there heads with baby oil to make the black look to have a deep shine. What show are you showing at ? Hope you do well :)
