Anything to watch out for in a high brush area?

I had an island of three trees taken out and the stumps were too high to mow it, so it has since become a jungle including saplings, a few iris that managed to survive, I’m pretty sure poison ivy and who knows what else. I was thinking of putting the chickens on that plot to help knock it down so we can get to the stumps and finish it up, but I wanted to make sure it was safe. I know the poison ivy wont hurt them, but is there anything else I should make sure isn’t there, etc?

I’ll be moving the entire hoop house coop and all onto the spot, complete with anchors and skirting, so the predator proofing will be the same as it is now. A motivated coyote could probably get in, but the dog will let me know if they’re poking around.
Snakes are a concern of course… now and otherwise. I haven’t had an issue yet, but they are more likely to be in the brush I suppose.
