Are geese better than ducks?

I had four Pekin ducks. Now I have zero from an attack. I am going to college soon, but I'm planning ahead and I want a great flock that I can spend time with and that actually enjoys my company. Any Opinions?

If you're looking for more affectionate birds then I would say geese are probably "better" than ducks in that aspect. Most of my geese are much friendlier than my ducks.

I've had several different breed of Geese. If you want friendly geese then I would suggest staying away from Chinese,African, and Embden geese.

What sort of attack? Geese can not defend themselves against any land predator. if something killed your ducks, it will probably kill your geese.

It was an over night attack and it was because I didn't put them up at the correct time because of an acting gig that wa later than usual. I would definitely put the geese up at night for their safety.

A true dewlap Toulouse is going to run you quite a bit more.

How much would be quite a bit? Like $2 or $3. Or something major like $20 or $30 more than the regular ones.
