are goslings supposed to enjoy swimming?

i went with her for another walk today and she swam a lot more then she did yesterday

this time she followed me right in and was diving under the water and swimming around in circles

I take it she had a LOT of fun!!!

Goslings usually love to swim, they follow Mum and Dad and their Aunts and Mum usually keeps an eye on them because they can become waterlogged and drown otherwise. I have always let my geese sit and hatch their own eggs (never used an incubator) and she teaches them what they need to know rather quickly.

my little guy has been raised with the ducks and where they will get in and play, he hops in and plays 'yellow submarine', going fast under water completely a few times, clears the pool then hops out....
