(I’m going to post their age with the picture) Ok so I have 5 guineas that hatched May 17 this year and are 21 weeks old, but other peoples guineas this age are so much bigger, they were feed starter up until the age of about 9 weeks old and they went outside with my flock at about 7 weeks and ever since they have been on game bird or all flock. They are two weeks younger than my Olive eggers and are basically identical in size and I don’t have a picture of them today but they’re the same size as the pictures taken at 19 weeks. The made their first noise other than peeping at the age of 7 weeks and now when they see anyone but me the go crazy screaming but they love me and treat me like a flock member. I have only ever been able to distinguish one that made a female call and it’s Ash my lavender one with a smaller crest. The first YouTube video is when they first ever vocalized and the second is what they do now. Btw the 10 day old white one in my hand was the only one that died.

You say they were fed starter feed but not whether it was chick starter or a high protein game bird starter.

It is normal for guinea keets that are fed a low protein chick starter to end up being under sized. Chivk starter does not have the higher levels of protein, lysine methionine or niacin that keets need for propet development.

Guineas are not big birds with a mature male dressing out at 2.5 lbs.

They are a little smaller than my 4 pound Easter egger hen and seem to be the a smaller than the ones I see the same age but they still have some baby plumage and their crest and wattles are smaller which is my main concern, but now that you’re saying an adult is 2.5 pounds I think they might be normal size. I’ll post a picture of one next to an average soda can

There are some larger varieties of French Pearl Guineas, like mine. The hens tend to be the same size as my standard chickens, and one of the my males I nick-named "monster" due to his above-average size (as well as his bully-boy attitude). Monster is easily the largest bird in my flock.

They aren't as flighty as the smaller varieties, and they're a bit prone to leg and foot injuries due to the extra weight. On the plus side they scare the hell out of raptors when they mob them.

In these pictures most of them are about a year old.

Monster is nowhere to be seen in either picture, likely because he was off chasing somebody.

I raise Orpington’s and my older Orpington rooster is around 10 lbs while my younger one seems bigger than him so I have no idea how big he is, will the males be
bigger height and length wise. Here’s a picture of me holding my older Orpington last winter

Even the Jumbo guineas will not get that big.

Even Monster isn't that large, assuming that's an adult human in the picture. He's a little bigger than my larger roosters, which are maybe 2/3 the size of what you've got there.

I remember when I was rooster shopping early last year and looking at Blue Orpingtons as a possiblity for my breeding program, but looking at the average weight judged them too big for my standard size Legbar and Olive Egger hens.

I’m 14 and around 5’4 150lbs if that gives you an idea. Here’s him in a 3 foot tall 8 foot long rooster jail
