Are there grey ayam cimani chicken?

I have a 3 month old chick, hatched from black ayam cimani, he have a grey tongue, black skin, toes, vent and grey feathers, is that a pure cimani or one of his parent had a crossed genes?

How did you get the egg he was hatched from? Were there other potential parents besides Ayam Cemani?

I think he is probably a cross, since they are supposed to be pure black, but it's possible he is a blue sport. Stranger things have happened.

Its the only egg hatched from 5 egg i got them ftom a friend, the parents are tottaly black

Hmmm, that makes it sound like a blue sport then. When it has matured, compare its shape, size and other characteristics to known pure blooded Ayam Cemanis. If he is the same in these respects, then you will have a better idea of what is going on. Very interesting case!
