I ordered 25 pullets (they sent 26, one died) and now I am worried they send me straight run or they suck at vent sexing. I was sure the one roo they sent as an extra was IDed and re homed with 3 girls to be a happy little family. Now I am pretty dang sure 2 are boys (#3 and #5) and have questions about 5 others. They are 7 weeks and 2 days old today.
#1 and #2 these ones have a bit pinker combs then the ones I am sure are girls, they have slower growing tail feathers as well
#1 face shot
#2 face shot
#3 body shot- I am 99% sure this fella will crow soon
#3 he has a triple row red comb with the best beard of all the chicks and thick legs.
#4 pointy tail feathers that seem to go every direction and is coming in really slow
#4 (in the front) comb looks tiny but pink
#4 you can see that it tail is coming in slowly
#5 classic red blotches of a rooster- very little color in its comb though
#3 to compare comb size and color to
#6 slow growing tail and are those saddle feathers?
#6 (horrible lighting)
#6 (small but pink comb)
#7 pointy looking tail feathers
#7
#7 pink comb
#7
The group of 7 that I suspect to maybe be roos.
