I got these two from a hatchery. The one white delaware and one dark barnevelder are the two in question. They've got the feather patterns and big feet. They're both about twenty five days old. Thier combs are a little more pointy than the others but not real pronounced yet.

The chicks are a little over seven weeks now. The one delaware with all the smut has got me thinking it could be a roo. The dark barnevelder looks different than the others, that one I'm not sure about. There's another barnevelder in the one picture at the bottom, all the others look like that one. Neither of them have much comb or wattles and they seem yellow or dull pinkish. What do you think?

I don't see any male feathering yet and the comb is still small and pale so I'd say as of right now, they both look like pullets.

Right now, i'd say both pullets

Thanks, i hope so. The delaware is the friendliest of the bunch. I'll keep them either way if it changes as long as they are nice to my kids

The Barnevelder is a girl, and the Delaware needs some more time as I’m not sure yet.
