What's your new place like?

It's my dream home! I have just over 1/2 an acre with a very large greenhouse (or hoophouse) where I keep my quail and garden.

I have an indoor atrium that I still need to work on. I have a library to hold my thousands of books and a media room to hold my thousands of DVDs and CDs. I still don't have a working television, though, so I haven't been able to watch some of the things I want to yet.

I'm only a mile from downtown, so the nearest grocery store is within walking distance. They're expensive, though, so I usually go to the one that's about 5 miles away.

How did you get the idea for your YouTube channel?

Which one? The MerriQuail was because of the quail. I was a guest on Coturnix Corner and Myshire Farm's channels, so I started my own.

The BeeKey Books and Cats actually was @Kiki 's influence. She mentioned that I have a pleasant voice to listen to, and I'd heard that before, so I decided to try reading books. Since viewership is low and I can't seem to get subscribers, I added cats because everyone likes cat videos!
