I like many of them but I think my favorite would be Blue Silver Duckwing.

When I first started working with leghorns all I had was browns and whites so all I could really do was red pyle.
Unlike so many say you can I never pulled all these other colors and patterns from underneath the whites. What I did eventually get that surprised me was silver duckwing.
Oh it was on then and off and running I went. I just maintained and worked on the silver duckwings while I explored other varieties.
I got some isabellas when they first appeared and worked with them. I liked them but thought maybe putting the lavender on silver duckwing would have a cleaner appearance. I wasn't a fan of the straw coloring that the Isabellas had.
I did that and liked the results.
I had saw blue leghorns from Europe and love those but there was no blue in leghorns in the states.
I decided to make them and break my rule of only using Leghorn blood. I used andalusians to bring in the blue since they were very close breed to leghorns.
I wanted blue but I also thought blue gold duckwing would look cool so I worked on both projects simultaneously.
Eventually I I had the same thought that the blue might look cleaner on silver duckwing so I started crossing blue gold duckwing with the silver duckwing and bingo.
