New pictures of the kids, they're in that awkward pre-teen stage... one of them even has a mohawk! Hunter was attacked by the momma (that's why her head is all bedhead), guessing because she's the smallest, so her, baguette, and specky (they're her best friends and haven't pecked her owie) have their own kennel now.

So cute! I wonder if the one with the mohawk is a Legbar x Welsummer cross? The first one looks like a Welsummer, and the fourth one looks like a Cuckoo Marans. Looks like you have a few Wyandottes too! I thought the black one in the last picture was going to be an Australorp, but it has quite a bit of brown now!

Thank you! I'm not familiar with welsummers, that's be a new one for me! I'm pretty sure at this point that hunter is a barred rock, and I thought I had 2 astralorps too, but just noticed all that brown today also

So guys! We have 3 males for sure but I am wondering if this barred rock is a male or a female… we've been calling her... a her and 'her' name is Hunter…. she is just barely over 10 weeks old what do you guys think? Her waddle and comb are much larger and more red than the other females but they didn't get that way until the past week or 2
