At what age did your hens stop laying eggs?

My oldest hen is two and a half years old and she completely stopped laying a year ago. The second oldest is one and a half years old and only occasionally lays an egg every few weeks. I always thought she would pass away early because her eggs are huge and she has the size of a football...

Some articles say 1 year, others 1 1/2 years. Some articles say egg production slows down by eight months old. What have been your real-life experiences?

Put hens lay everyday and they are 4 years old this month. One brooding on about 18 eggs now. This will be their first biddies if they hatch. This rooster is homeless and just started going with them 2 weeks ago. He just came up and wouldn't leave so we kept him.
