Australorp Roo?

They were $15 each. But that seems to be to going rate for unsexed around here. He seemed genuine. Said he has never had anyone get such bad odds. He wouldn't let me pick through them as he said it was unfair on the next buyer. But part of me wondered if he sees them the first week and sells the rest unsexed.
That seems so weird, he is selling chicks that are at an age where they can be sexed fairly accurately, yet he won’t let people pick their own and he “randomly” grabs birds for you. I’m selling some older straight runs right now that I can’t tell the genders on (just 3) but I told the new owner if they end up all boys I will refund her. Im selling the chick trio for $20 so I figured if she ends up with at least one girl then she will have gotten her moneys worth. Hopefully you can either get more chicks or work it out with the seller to get a partial refund or something!

That was my thinking exactly. Chickens are scarce atm in Australia because of bird flu or something so at least i can breed. The guy I brought them off eats them, so he said if I returned them he could give me some more chick's that i would hopefully get some pullets from. I don't really want to start over though. I paid $120 for them. 🙄
IDK, the guy sounds shady. I'd say take back the ones you don't want and get some money back and spend it elsewhere.

If he's going to eat them, I would just sell them to someone else. At this point if you return them, you paid to grow out these birds to eating weight for a very shady seller. I would stay far away.

This is an update on the only other one I think looks like a hen. It's doesn't fight and I havnt seen it crow like some of the other younger ones?
It nearly looks full grown, so maybe he had the ages wrong.
It does have some pointy feather though.

Saddle feathers and comb/wattles look like a cockerel to me. Especially compared with the first photo you posted where the hen has almost no comb/wattles yet.

This exactly. Don't raise his cockerels for him while on top paying good money for the "females" and spending for their feed too!

This seller seems quite the nasty personality
