I need reviews on automatic coop door openers. We do have power to the coop so plugin ones are an option.

We have the ChickenGuard Extreme & are completely happy with it. It's set to open just after sunrise & close just before sunset & works on 4 AA batteries.

We got the Extreme because the metal pop door is heavy, but probably didn't need it.

we have one and 10/10 recommend! its easy and convenient especially if you have a tight schedule. so would recommend!

I got the Cheeper Keeper automatic door. It runs on 4 AA batteries. I haven't had it that long, so haven't had to change them yet, but they're supposed to last a long time.

This has the light sensor, but I bought the timer accessory so I could have more control over the schedule.

Works fantastically well. Couldn't recommend it enough. I have to leave for work long before it's time for the babies to come out, so this door is great. Keeps them from having to be locked up all day.

Its been in for 4 months so I haven't had to yet. People say they last a long time.

I've just bought the Omlet Autodoor for my wooden coop.
