What a wonderful aviary! I would love to have something like that in my house. It's so pretty and I'll bet it's so fun to watch.

Yup.... I didn't think 2 parrots that could break a broomstick in half would be a good idea with a baby. Amazons especially are notorious for unpredictable biting. The 2 I had could swear like sailors too.

I absolutely love this set up. I have a large aviary cage and there are always feathers and corn cob abd seed all over the place and of course that draws mice. I am going to keep an eye open for a piece of furniture I could convert into something like this. I love it. Do you find the buttons quail to be aggressive to the other birds if the go to ground?

The buttons are too busy chasing each other around to bother the other birds much. If a baby finch falls out of the nest, they have scalped and killed them.

If I can get my hands on an old curio cabinet, I'd love to remodel it for birds too. I lucked out on finding this one on CL....
