Baby chick butt concern

Hello!

I have raised chicks before but not encounted this problem. I have two chicks whose butts look like this- it's not necessarily pasty butt but it's not looking correct either. They pick at them a lot... Any advice? They are on medicated chickstarter and I might start wetting it...

Maybe dab on a little Blue-Kote on the spots they are picking. Hicks attract to red.
