Hello! I have a 4 day old baby chick. She is starting to eat better than she has and also drink water more. Her poop within the last day looks normal.
She has splayed legs. I have braced them with bandages since she was a day old. She seems to be doing better but is still having a hard time. It's almost like she is trying to only walk on her knees. I'm worried she will always struggle. Am I just not giving it enough time? I appreciate any advice.

I dont. I can get better pics tomorrow. This is how I had them braced.

Sweet baby!

If possible, get some photos of her standing and of the legs without the hobble. Tomorrow would be good.

Usually with splay/spraddle leg, you should see improvement within a day or so, but it may take a couple of days.

You mention she's eating better and starting to drink. That's good, but she may still be behind or even failure to thrive. I don't mean to be a downer, but with these little ones, sometimes they don't make it no matter what we try.

I'd also start giving her B-Complex. Dissolve a 1/4 tablet in a tiny amount of water and give her drops of the vitamin water throughout the day until used up, repeat daily for at least a week, but you can go much longer if needed. B-Complex has B2 (Riboflavin) which is helpful for leg health and also other B vitamins that essential for growth/overall health.
