Ah, in that case I could use the lower strap on the harness (the part that goes under the wing).

The other idea I had was to strap it to the back of the leg, like a parolee under house arrest.

All of my hens end up with hidden nests. I eventually find them.

Looks pretty close. Behind where the wing attaches is where the toms can rake down and rip their sides.

Unbelievable. I have 48 hours of GPS data from my hen, and followed her footsteps exactly. Still cannot find her nest!!
