Basil

Basil is 1/4 Salmon Favorelle 1/4 Buff Orphington and 1/2 White crested gray Polish. She is a super sweet and sassy pullet, and is my first chick’s first chick lol. She loves to hang out with her two adopted older sisters, Dolly and Fauna. This is a picture of her at county fair.

General

General is a bantam Cochin and Bantam Delaware mix. He loves to show off and is louder than most of my other roosters. He is very sweet to the hens and will help them build their nests. This is a picture of him drying off after a bath.

I’ve had some chicks that were trouble makers but I’ve never had one like Pip! Pip has a Cochin father and I’m not sure who is mother is.

He was raised by a spangled old english bantam, but by three weeks he slept next to her, for her to protect him and she well told him what to do. He came from a blue egg ( at the time had a couple of legbar hens and an Easter egger from tsc laying blue, had a deleware,jubilee orpington,golden seabright and a black maran roo)
He is massive,gentle and generally has teeny tiny spurs at almost 2 years old.he is ultra gentle,weighs about 11 pounds and is a tall fellow

Yeah I'd buy some of those eggs/chicks if you could haha. I have a white silkie rooster and 5 hen breeds so hopefully I can make some unique birds in spring! I wanna cross my spotted Sussex with the white silkie rooster!

Eddie bird is the daughter of my spangled oegb and a modern game/ fighting rooster ( eddie showed up at my house,sweet gentle boy but know it was from down the road where they raise them) ( Eddie got killed by a rooster no longer lives here)
