Cockerel on left. Lighter barring and big red comb indicate male.Sorry to jump on the discussion but I wanted to get an opinion on these two… I fear I already know the answer. Any insight appreciated!
Thought so. Thanks! Unfortunate news. I love barred rocks and always wanted some, can’t have roosters where I’m at, sadly. One of many reasons I need to moveCockerel on left. Lighter barring and big red comb indicate male.

Here is Blue at 12 weeks! We really think he’s a boy & ready to give him away. Should we give it a bit more time?
I'd give it a bit more time. I am still leaning cockerel, but not 100% sure. Here is Blue at 12 weeks! We really think he’s a boy & ready to give him away. Should we give it a bit more time?
Gee it’s so hard! It’s developing so slow. Compared to the other it looks way more cockerel. We currently have 9 chickens in suburbia when our coop is only built for about 5 hens (very squishy at night) don’t know who to get rid of because our other mystery breed chicken is also a slow developerI'd give it a bit more time.
