I have a Barred Rock hen about 1.5yo that was exhibiting some runny stool about a 2 weeks ago, but was otherwise acting normally. Noticed an uptick in poop covered feather around her vent, so more closely inspected. Found a wound above her vent (unclear on the cause) that I cleaned with vetericyn spray after removing some of the poop caked feathers to prevent further contamination. Immediately isolated her inside and for the last 5 days up to today she had been acting reasonably well, but was still having a lot of runny poop. This morning she appears to have taken a turn and is extremely lethargic and appears to not have balance. The wound above her vent has scabbed/healed over, but her stool is now far more runny and she does not appear interested in eating/drinking at all. I have added a vitamin supplement to her water and provided yogurt to eat based on other advice.

Looking for care advice and/or a potential vet in my area (Collierville, TN) if its worth it. I haven't been able to find a care provider that handles poultry through my searches.

Hi there, what's her diet and age?
Crop feel?
Has she laid recently?
Has not laid recently (week would be my assumtion). Not sure what normal feels like on the crop, but she's has not been doing a lot of neck adjusting for it. She's about 1.5 yrs old. Been on nutrena feather fixer mix (high protein) for the late fall/winter (about 2.5 months)
