I don't know the answer, but I did notice your question is in the wrong thread. It might get a response in the emergencies & diseases thread. Personally I would use a product designed to treat mites & worms.

Not a good idea! Only permethrin, pyrethrum, and spinosad are approved for use on chickens in the USA, and fenbendazole for intestinal parasites.
Using products designed for pet species on food producing animals is not a good approach at all! Those eggs will carry products, sometimes for a long time.

Dog owners have to be extra careful with which of these products they use on the breed of dog due to the chemicals in them (my Australian Shepherds have to avoid IVERMECTIN ), so I would never try cross using that type of product. Plus the pure size difference in the animals would cause major concern of the concentration being given.

Frontline spray can be used on chickens for mites but it’s off label and there’s no specified egg withdrawal times.

So the actual egg withdrawal time is 'forever'.

Pick what you want to use. Frontline works and only has to be used sparingly unlike permethrin which has to be sprayed constantly. Again I’ve said it a million times permethrin is still labeled as a carcinogen. So....pick your poison.
