Okay...so here it is....
5lb pork shoulder roast.
I made little slices in the roast & inserted some garlic into them
Then I poured one bottle of Sweet & Spicy chipotle BBQ sauce into the pot & sat the roast in there, kind of squishing it into the sauce bath. This is a very thick sauce that will thin out some so I always have an extra bottle on hand to finish the roast with after it's cooked.
I then poured a second bottle over the top, I saved about 1/4 of the bottle & put it in to the fridge.
Then I did a cinnamon/chipotle rub all over the top.
I set the crock pot to low.
I am making corn on the cob & baked potatoes instead of the roasted reds & green beans. My parents haven't had this recipe yet...I hope they like it!
