I haven't seen that but I think I get it. :lau

I worked on the retrofit of the Pontalba Building, a 200 year old apartments flanking Jackson Square in New Orleans. Just before I got on the job they opened a wall and found a set a leg bones.
There was an investigation and they found they were actually 'horse bones'. Lucky because if they were human it would have delayed the project.
Only thing they couldn't answer is, Why was the horse wearing a woman's shoe?
Some people have the oddest ideas for time capsules.

That was an interesting job. I met a fellow there and we were discussing the find and we got to talking about paranormal things, things common in New Orleans. He made the statement "My Pawpaw said 'Don't you believe those ghost". I thought it was the 'Urban" accent but as he elaborated I realized, He didn't say 'Don't believe in ghost." He meant "Don't believe what those ghost are telling you."

Maybe he's right. It is New Orleans after all.
I'm not a believer but I'm not a disbeliever either.
When my kids were small my 3yo daughter brought a make believe friend home. Her name was Shea and she (according to my daughter) wore a long dress, "boots with ties", an apron, and had curls. One day we were in the bedroom playing with her baby brother. The closet door was open. My daughter yelled "Shea get down from there now!" All my photo albums started falling from the closet shelf. I got goose bumps then, and I still get goose bumps when I think about it.
But I'm still a skeptic.

I'm the same way. I'll believe it when you prove it to me. And it takes a lot.
I have been hunting in the Honey Island Swamp and seen Rougarou tracks (think, Cajun bigfoot) and I'm STILL not sure.

I know it's September, but I love Halloween! :D I'm just getting started so I'll add as I go along. I pulled out my favorite thing today while I was working in the kitchen: my Haunted Halloween radio. It plays spooky music and those old-fashioned spooky stories like Dracula, Werewolf, Frankenstein, etc.

I seen a ghost possum once.................. I seen nothing at all. true story. my grandma saw it, and the dog was howling and pointing.(she's an old Australian Shepard dog, isn't usually afraid of anything). I knew there had to be something out that night, because the dog reacted to it. from where grandma was pointing, and the old dog was looking, it would have been right in the path of our security cameras. but when we checked the recording............... nothing was there. she said the thing she saw looked like a cross between a rat and a possum.
