I purchased a sexed BCM pullet from Meyer Hatchery that hatched 10/7, so 8 weeks 1 day. That BCM is pictured. They are already getting the copper coloring and their comb is growing and starting to turn red. By comb alone I would say this is actually a cockerel.
I hatched a BCM in my incubator 7/31 and that pullet did not get any comb redness until just recently around 13 weeks of age. So based on the difference between their development I feel that confirms the attached is a cockerel at 8 weeks of age and not a fast-developing pullet.
