Began our coop build

Began trying to prune the trees that are in the way of the coop build. Mulberry on the left I have someone coming to get it down to ground level. Crepe Mrytle is just being shaped up.

Well today the mulberry met its fate. I found someone via the local BST pages to help get it down. The remainder needs to be burned as its grown into the fence. Ill be drilling pilot holes into the stump and applying stump out or salt . Tomorrow I hope to actually mark off the coop and run areas and pull up any weed cloth in the area to let it green up in the area for future foraging.

One major blocker complete!!

He did a nice job!!
YEAH!! Considering how close it was to the fence etc! I may put some weed cloth over the stump to help deter runners once I salt or stump out the remaining piece.. But even if I covered with dirt, it's so nice having it down to ground level!!

I can thank the local power company for creating this mess in the first place!! UGH!!!

1 Hurdle down, hopefully the build is smooth(er) sailing!!

Really, why!?
Blame whoever planted that tree or added the fence so close to it.
Well they are the ones to initially chop the tree.. but couldn't take it all the way down to ground level.. It wasn't in their way initially..

Chances are the mulberry planted itself over 70yrs ago before fencing was a thing around here.. but we shall never know.

Hey as long as it was taken care of right? :)
