I've never had to replace my woodchips. They do a good job with drainage in winter and then dry out completely in summer. I have a very large run but I can tell even in a small run you would only have to worry about replacing them if you have to many chickens, too much manure.Thank you! that's really good to know! How often do you have to replace your woodchips?
