Best food for rooster

No Cockerels or Roosters here, but if I did I would feed them what I feed my girls.
I feed all my Hens and Pullets a Non-Medicated Starter-Grower or a All-Flock/Flock Raiser feed with 18-20% Protein with Oyster Shells separately. GC

Grower is that the same as the chick starter?
It's usually lower in Protein, sometimes lower than Layer feed. 20190324_145532.jpg .
I would never feed this low of Protein to any age Chicken. 18 to 20% for my girls.
I feed a Starter Grower combo, it's good till they lay eggs and beyond if Non-Medicated. GC
ETA; Of course you would provide Oyster Shells when they are close to Laying

Grower feed is like chicken feed for teenage chickens. Grower feed contains a protein content that is between 16-18% but has less calcium than normal layer feed. Grower feed supports the growth of teenage chickens without giving them unnecessary vitamins and minerals that are more suited for laying hens.

I feed all my birds growers mash with a side dish of oyster shells, they also free range through the feilds during the day.
