So i bought a brisnea back in the day and it was the basic model. could never get very good hatch rates and i think its the humidity issue. I live on the coast so my new incubator needs to be able to auto humidity. Anyone have suggestions?
for chickens and possibly quail in the future.

ok so i think these are my choices-
Rcom max or Do, brinsea ovation ex or mini ex.
anyone use any of these? I just want an incubator that lasts and keeps the humidity correct

where did you purchase your max, and would you go for the do version? strombergs is $350 but says a year warranty while the site is 400 but has a two year warranty.
We got it over ten years ago from Strombergs, I think. The DO version looks good, too. If I were going to do it again, I don't think I would get the RCOM, and I say that because the egg capacity is so limited, and it's harder to do a deep cleaning on. We've also had to replace all three fans at least once, and the floppy keypad membrane thing.

I use a Kebonnix 12 egg incubator (also have the nr360 and ended up buying a second Kebonnix after trying it). It is amazing, holds humidity for days without needing refill. My hatch rate is close to 80%. There is a thread on here somewhere talking about how people like it. It was around $150 I think when I got the second one.

i was thinking of that one but i need one that does well with humidity control

It does exceptionally well with humidity. Holds the same % percent for days unless we have the heater running near it. I’ve used 4 different incubators and the Kebonnix is the most user-friendly and very hands off.
