Best remedy for spilled milk in a vehicle?

I love it!! LOL! Good thing I can laugh about it now.
OlliOlliOlli, it's not in the upholstery... it's in the padding under the vinyl flooring. The flooring (with the pad attached) has been removed from the vehicle and is dripping dry at the moment. The floorboards have been washed and sprayed with deodorizer, and will be washed again. The flooring is going to the carwash with me in a few.

Okay people, listen up.

Here's my age old recipe for deodorizing most anything.
Go to Wal-Mart and tell the Pharmacy that you want to order a couple jars of the yellow powder Masingill douche. When you get it, mix it rather heavy, put in a spray bottle and use it. Or in a bowl and use with sponge, or pour it over your skunked dog/cat/kid. Works well and is not toxic. I've even used it to clean up after my aged MIL when she had accidents due to her Alzheimers.
The premeasured liquid doesn't work AS well, but can help in a pinch. Mild to delicate tissues (goes with out saying) yet does the job.
Let me know how you likes it!

When my daughter threw up on a cross country flight (all over!) The stewerdess gave me some ginger ale to get the smell out of her clothes. She swore it would get ride of any smell. Well, if it get's the puke smell out of clothes it should get the curdled milk smell out of a truck!

Oh my! Hmm... out of ginger ale, and I'm not driving back to town today...

I tell you what... it's LOUD in there without all the padding!

I put the driver's seat back in so I could get to the car-wash. I spent over 5 minute hitting that thing with the high pressure wash and soap. Got it stuck in the mat-clamps on the wall and required assistance getting it out of the clamps, resulting in an explanation ...

Got it home and started looking it over... there are still little brown fly cocoons enmeshed in the padding!!!

And the high pressure wash rather destroyed the top layer of the padding so I just pulled it off. Looks like I'll be getting some carpet padding and replacing it and I can use the top layer as a template.

These are some great ideas, though!!

Kids 'n' Pets. You can get it at Walmart. It's made for urine, poo, and vomit, so milk should be a snap!

It works great and won't leave slime on your windows like Febreeze does when it evaporates. My kids used to get car sick all the time, and we still have our car!!

*Edited to add: Oh, I didn't read the last page. New padding will work too!

All ends in having to spend some dough. Upside is you'll recapture that 'new car scent' after all! Everyone is on notice to scrape their boots before you go tracking into my truck.
