I have a Nestera coop, and I am looking for an auto door opener for it. I was ready to buy a Titan, but some of the reviews on this forum have scared me off. Now I am looking at either a Brinsea or a Chicken Guard. Any thoughts on these two brands? I would also love to hear thoughts and opinions on if all the bells and whistles like being able to set a timer are necessary, or if a light sensor is "good enough"?

I don't have experiences with those brands as I have a Run Chicken door. I like that it can combine a sensor and a timer. I have it set to close one hour AFTER the light sensor says it's time to close.

This way a late chicken doesn't get locked out and on gloomy over cast stormy days they still get plenty of run access.

I have a standard Chicken Guard with timer as we do get a lot of winter gloom that's messed with other light timers, so I'd rather have more control over when it opens and closes (I also don't want the birds out at the break of dawn, just so they're quieter since we get up later than most).
