Bird mites

Hello everyone, i have recently had a mite infestation, i have treated all chickens and ducks. My peking duck penelope has a ring of missing feathers around her eye and the eye was a bit weepy, could this be mites irritating her?? I have attached picture. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I would suggest you post the problem and pic under emergencies and hopefully someone with experience will be able to help.

She is a sweetie. I agree that you should post on the emergencies thread (with the photo) and also the "Duck thread." It may be that she is irritated from the mite treatment but, when I enlarged the photo, it looks like it could be something else.

Thanks everyone i have posted in duck and emergencies. I have been washing eye with betadine water solution. If it is not looking any better in a couple days i will take her to the vet. I juat hope it is only mites and nothing serious. My poor girl
