Black alstrop cockerel or pullets?

I'm skeptical that these are Australorps. Pictures in better lighting would help.

I agree! It does look like they have a small crest on one of their heads, and the coloring on their chests looks similar to that of a black sexlink's. I would say pullets though.

Yes I thought I also seen a bit of wild hair and some reddish/white chest coloring. Mind sharing with us where you got them?

For now I think they are pullets, but it's still quite early to tell.

If those are the parents, then its a mix and not a full australorp, it could be the rooster over a black australorp but not a full australorp
