I sure hope so! I’ve been on the fence since first posting, which is why I’ve been updating. I’ve been leaning more toward pullet lately but didn’t know if it was wishful thinking.

Another update on my now 8ish-week old black Australorp! Any new bets on pullet vs. cockerel?

I’m just kept guessing with this bird! It’s such a sweetheart and really loves being pet and held. The comb and wattles are just SOO red and much larger than all the girls’, and very comparable to the 8-week old Faverolles cockerel I have. I feel like the growth stopped for a couple weeks and has started up again
