Black comb

Hi guys just treated my girls for lice and noticed a couple had black in there combs just wondering what it would be and how to treat

Welcome to BYC. What have the temperatures been in the last couple of weeks? The comb could be frostbite or from trauma, but looks more like damage. The chickens’ pupil looks a bit like ocular Mareks. Have you ever had Mareks in your flock?

No dont think have had mareks, The weather has been quite warm high 36c

Looks like dried blood to me.

Just showed a friend that also has chickens and she said mosquito so blood would make sense

They can injure their combs on wire fencing or chicken wire, and also if they are pecked. Are you in the southern hemisphere? Could you take a picture of the left eye?

It was just dried blood guys from mosquito's i held her and cleaned it off with a soft damp cloth.
