I have what I can only think is a pure Black Copper Marans Rooster. The only other option is that he may be an olive egger. The breeder I got him from was not very good at sending me pure chicks.
He's beautiful and wonderful to the girls. He got a little people aggressive when his 3 brothers left to go to freezer camp. I think he would make a good flock protector but I don't mind if he also goes to freezer camp - I just don't have the time to do that right now.
