Black Friday freaks...I need advice for hitting WalMart sales!!!

i must say black friday shopping is one of my favorite things to do...lol my mom splits us up into pairs(all the kids and boy/girlfriends if they come) and we each get a store and the caravan moves out lol. the waiting in line kinda sucks but its worth it, and if you get a sales person that seems nice about 2 hours before the sale and ask them for help they can secret some stuff away or leave it in a different spot for you "shifty eyes" not that ive ever done that...above all just be nice to the employees and that will go along way because most people are total jerks that day so one nice person stands out.

I would go through the ads on Thanksgiving Day, make a list and go! Make sure you go way early...like 4 or 5 am. If you don't know what you are looking for, it will be gone before you knew you wanted it! It is crazy, but it is fun! Definitely have it mapped out where you are going and what you are getting. If you take a friend with you, one can stand in line while the other goes and grabs everything. Last year we waited for 2 hours in line at Target!

I wish I had options! The nearest target is another 30 minutes away, and a "Mall" is at least 2 hours away. That's why I do so much on-line. Middle of God's Country is worth it, but there is such a limited choice

My experience is that in areas like mine (rural) Walmart has PLENTY of left overs for sale all day long

But, I'm sure some stores sell out.

WOW! I have worked for Wal-Mart for going on 20 years now and I know that there are alot of different views of the company but alot of Americans are thankful that they have one to shop at.

To the OP - if your store does not close then you can go in when you want ( most of them have maps of where the items are going to be located through out the store) find your item and wait. They will not release the items until the sale starts. If it is going to be a camera, alot of times they have the cameras behind the counter at the photo lab. GOOD LUCK and be safe - it can get very hetic!​
