Hows the new drakes personality?

The new boy is quite quiet at the moment, he’s quite friendly. When I put him in the pen the other two boys on the other side of the fence came over and they were all making their dog noises. We’ll see him get more confident overtime.

Update on the hatching eggs 1/2/20:
So, I got back home and checked the black muscovies eggs and she has had two hatch. They are blacks thankfully not barred, but there are still two more eggs hatching so I’ll see then. The ducklings have yellow bibs and the rest of their body’s black. I’m hoping that I will get some ducks out of this batch and not just drakes as always. Here’s a photo of a scovy bub:

Congrats that is adorable! Last year was the year of the drake let’s hope this is the year of the duck!!

Update on the hatching eggs 2/2/20:
They’ve all hatched now. There are 3 blacks and one barred. I’ll have to move them out in a few days. I’ll get some pics later.
