Will a black sex link maran lay the same dark brown eggs as a black copper maran?

Black copper Marans are known to lay the darkest eggs, but it all depends on where you get them. From a hatchery, not as dark usually as from a breeder. Some of the sex linked Marans (Midnight Majesty among others) can lay dark eggs. It can also be an idividual bird trait as well.
