Does anyone have pictures of black copper marans crossed with wheaten marans?

I am incubating my own eggs. I have a black copper marans rooster. One of my hens is a wheaten marans who lays as dark as my black coppers. I set eggs from her and 3 black copper marans hens. So, my chicks will be around 75% chance of black copper marans, and 25% chance of black copper split to wheaten.

I'm not selling or breeding to standards or anything, so it doesn't matter too much if I mix them up, but for my own curiosity I'd like to be able to guess which chicks are which. I understand they'll all look black at hatch. I'm wondering if I'll be able to tell the difference as they feather out. If they do look different, your pictures would help! Thanks!

If you go look back at my history I have one post but I've hatched 100's out. It's about a 50/50 shot. The light colored chicks are wheatens, and the dark colored chicks will have the BCM characteristics.

This is a day old that was a BCM. The problem you run into with these is the SOP for leg color turns a bit weird. I had a few that would have reverse foot colors. BCM w/ white leg/shank, but the wheaten would never get the black leg as far as I remember. So just keep that in mind as this could affect you if you are raising them for show etc.

I would argue they were my healthiest chicken when I had them, and there is many people that have still laying hens that I gave them at going on 7-8 years now.

Replying to my own question here. Still interested in seeing others' pictures if you have them.

I banded the one chick that hatched from an egg I thought was wheaten x BCM. Yellow band was indistinguishable from the BCMs at hatch. Now she is 16 days old, and feathering out with an interesting brown pattern. She's the only one that looks like this, so I think I correctly guessed which eggs were whose. I'm planning on keeping her, so I'll keep you posted.

Lots of mossiness (brown leakage) plus loss of copper. I dont have any pullet photos as I sold them as backyard layers at about 12 weeks, but they also had chest leakage, mossiness in the body and lots were straw color instead of copper in the hackles
