Blind chick? What is the cause?

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of the chick.

But I'm so glad that the mom didn't abandon it either.

This was her only chick so she was a little confused today. So she is now sharing mama duties with the other mama with 6 babies. Everyone is happy! I do hate losing any of them, especially the little ones!
