get your blood pressure checked!
a nurse can check it for you and will tell you if you should see a doctor about it.
Just checked mine, came up with 111/77 which is doing really well
If you check yours at home, if your numbers come up higher than 140/90 you should probably get checked out by the doctor. Same if the numbers are too low - if it's below 100/60 you should get checked
learn from my bad example - no-one knew I had a problem with hypertension until a blood vessel in my head decided to pop which paralysed me and left me unable to use my right arm or speak properly. I was lucky and have regained most of my movement and can speak fine now (unless I'm tired, in which case I limp, my right arm is heavy, my speech gets slurred and my face starts to droop again). I will never regain 100% of sensation in my right side.
don't think "I feel ok" and not check it, I felt OK right up until I suddenly noticed I couldn't move. It's called a "silent killer" for a reason - you may not have any symptoms until the hemorrage, the stroke, or the heart attack. Google for what could happen and it's scary.
One in three people who have a brain hemorrage die from it. A lot of people who survive never regain their abilities.
Get your blood pressure checked! just coz it was OK 6 months ago doesn't mean problems can't develop now. It's easily medicated back to being normal, so go and get checked!
