I don't have experience with that specific breed, but a comb that bright at 5 weeks suggets cockerel to me.

Pretty sure that’s a male, but I don’t know from that one picture if it’s 100% Salmon Faverolles… maybe a mixed breed…

I was told they're purebred Favorelles but these are my first chickens. I call the brown one Boots and it's my favorite.

They look like males to me. But their coloring is throwing me off. The male Favs have black feathers on their chest while the female has white to brown chest feathers. Your’s has black and brown chest feathers. But comb is bright red so I’m leaning toward male.
The pictures I added were of mine at 7-8 weeks old. The black one is the male.
