Boy or Girl??

Mine is very soft, probably softer than any of the other pullets. Her personality is pretty mellow and laid back, but she is not trusting. She runs all the time for no reason if she thinks she perceives "danger". She will also wander off by herself and leave the rest of the flock. She's usually the last one to come in to eat or roost. She's pretty aloof.

Mine is super soft, laid back, friendly and curious about everything!

Oh I'm so confused! I was looking up pics of speckled sussex pullets. There were pics with roos with big combs and pointy saddle feathers. Then there were pics of hens with big combs and pointy saddle feathers. Then there were pics of hens with small combs and rounded saddle feathers!

I can't wait till Rosie either lays or crows so it's all over. (Actually I can wait until she crows!

)

Anyone else have ideas?

It's at an awkward age making it hard to tell. It doesn't have saddle feathers starting yet but believe sickle feathers are starting to grow on tail. I think it's a cockerel.
