Brahma chicks - type & sex? 3-4 weeks

I have 3 chicks, but they’re looking unusual for brahmas according to what I can find online.
They were supposedly light brahmas, but I realized quickly that is not the case. Do these still look like buff brahmas to you?

They were also supposedly sexed as female, but now I have doubts. I know it’s early, but do you have guesses about sex or should I stop worrying until later?

I put 2 pics of each bird… youngest first. I can post more pics if you think it would help. They were wary of the camera!

It's too early to tell on gender, but nothings screaming 'boy' at the moment.

As for breed/type, I'm not entirely sure. It's easiest to tell once they're fully feathered.

They're so cute though!

I would try reposting in a couple more weeks. (6-8 weeks old is a good time)

They are buff Brahmas. Too early to sex. 6 to 8 weeks is a good starting point for that.

That said, I see no indications at all that they are cockerels.

Thank you for the info! Do you have any pics of these four as 2 young chicks?

I am starting to think I actually have light brahmas, and not buff. The wing feathers are black and white so far.
