I SENT YOU A REPLY BUT FORGOT TO ATTACH IT AS A QUOTE, CUTE LITTLE FUZZY BUTTS.

2 of my eggs hatched yesterday. one is a Buff cross Light and the other is pure Buff if I'm correct. If not, please correct me. I had 3 light hens, 2 buff hens, and one buff roo.

Anyone here have Light, Gold laced or Silver laced large fowl that they would want to sell. I have some Silver laced eggs in the incubator. looks like I might hatch around 10. I will be going to Mount Hope on the 30th.I had some great Light Brahmas in the early 80's when I was a kid, now I'd like to get some more. Thanks, Steve

well i deff would be interested in knowing the recommended process for breeding out the vulture hocks, care to share...........

Brahmas are great pets, have a great temperment, are average layers, they get very big, some to 14 or 15 lbs but average males around 10 lbs, they stand confinement well, are generally more quiet than alot of other breeds, they also hold up to the cold very well.

Alright brahma owners, I plan on getting some brahmas at our feed store. My questions are,

-Are they good layers?

-Are they good pets?

-How big are they?

-Does the feathering on their feet get really dirty sometimes?

Wonder why?

don't have any idea why but if you go to oneearthfarm website and to tab about us, he apparently tossed in the towel on his entire farming operation. Only thing i have ever seen lead to a total change of direction in life like that is a change in domestic arrangements. I wish him luck.

yes, the auction in schylerville, i don't go too often, but its a good animal auction.
