Unknown breed and sex. I have three. One has smooth head like most chickens but two have bad hair days with a Mohawk. I suspect they are cockerels. They have just developed a new set of feathers and appear to be Brown Leghorns. Just not sure yet. Roughly 6-7 weeks old. Any help?

Can you post some pictures without the red light and wire in the way? Hard to see the actual birds. Also leghorns don’t have crests so they are either not leghorns at all or they’re mixed breeds. Also females can have crests too so that doesn’t automatically make them males. They could be Olive Eggers.

All are female.

Please get better pictures of the one on the right, she appears to be either a brown leghorn or a welsummer.

The others look to be legbar based olive eggers.

Thanks. I just dug up a lot of photos on the suggestions. The crested ones appear to match Legbar olive eggers. The feather patterns seem to support the choice. As far as photos I find them to be too feisty for one hand hold and pics with the other hand. .

Ah okay that’s understandable!
