Can anyone help me identify the chick breeds here I was told the first two were buff orpington but a friend of mine is saying some kind of red sex link. The one in the first two pics I was told is a rooster pics 3 and 4 are same age same coloring. The one in pics 5 and 6 I was told calico princess. Pics 7 and 8 is supposed to be black sex link 9 and 10 I was told buff orpington it was in the same box with the first two. I know the breeds aren't correct so if someone could help me to determine breeds and if I have roosters or hens that would be greatly appreciated!

What are the the ages of the chicks? Where did you get them? Any chance they are mixed breeds.
I got them on March 12th from rural king the guy at rural king was not helpful so I'm unsure how old they were I can post a picture of them when I got them for reference. There is a chance they're mixed breeds our rural king has a lot of reviews with complaints about mislabeling chicks both breed and labeling as pullets when it's straight run. The one you can see with the white wings is one of the ones in the 1-4 pics. The two lighter striped ones I don't have anymore I gave them to my sister.

It looks like mostly pullets. The first bird picture does look like it is likely a cockeral. The supposed black sex link is showing quite a bit of waddle, but I think that black sex links do develop quickly and the coloring is correct for a female black sex link.
As far as breeds I have not had buff orpington, but I don't think yours look like them. Since they are from RK they would not be backyard mixed, but they may be hybrids.

The first one looks like a cockerel, and possibly is a starlight green egger. The second and last look barred, in which case they’re Calico Princess. Third is a black sex link, fourth is an easter egger.

Someone shared this with me. They said that it works with all breeds, but this is my first time trying it. I marked the ones that have even feathers all the way across the wingtips as male. The ones that have 2 separate lengths are supposed to be my femals. My chicks are 7 days old today. I'm not sure if it works for older chickens. Good luck

This is not accurate and only works on very specific crossbreeds.
