I bought some goslings from someone who doesn't know what geese they have. The babies look just like toulouse goslings. I got a picture of the trio that laid them. The two in front look toulouse? One goose one gander? The one in the back is throwing me.

I am no where near a goose expert! I just know my 3 adult geese hahaha

Pic of parents and the 3 babies! I was under the impression I was getting one, the 2nd one hatched and they didn't know...the third had just hatched and was put in the box and given to me 😵‍💫 even though it wasn't dried and fluffed, it's doing great now!

Crosses maybe. The big gosling is very pale, does it have blue eyes?

Toulouse should be grey with no white patches other than the butt fluff.
French Toulouse are variable but generally grey, occasionally with some white.
Pilgrim goose hens are light grey with a white face and the ganders should be white with blue eyes.

Maybe they're or their parents or grandparents are crosses between Toulouse and Pilgrims or Toulouse with Embdens, or maybe some other mix.

Toulouse itself is a hard thing to pin down. There are exhibition Toulouse/ dewlap Toulouse which are unmistakable.
Then there are “production Toulouse” which can be a legitimate Toulouse or just any unidentified grey colored goose.
French Toulouse are a production Toulouse that Metzer sourced from France.

There are other breeds with grey and white but they tend to be much less common.

I do know she said she got the parents from a hatchery about 5 or 6 years ago. I didn't get to get too close to the parents so couldn't see if they had blue eyes. Baby's don't have blue eyes yet. She said she remembers them being toulouse and maybe an embden, but she again wasn't sure. That was before I saw the parents, I know embdens are white at least 😅.
They are just pets for me so no real concern for what they are, but curiosity always gets me!!! I'd love to know what the parents are so i can see what mix the babies are! They were all born withing the last 36 hours and one is so much bigger than the other 2! I'm curious if that one will be a gander of is just from the diffrent female!

I can’t say what the spotted adult goose is, but the adult gander in the middle could be Toulouse, and the lady in front of him might be pilgrim or a cross.

Sometimes eye color can change in geese but usually what they have when they hatch is what they’ll have as adults. My guess with the big gosling is it will be dilute pale grey with white spots or possibly all white.

I can't wait to see!!! Thank you for the help!!! My broody toulouse took the 2, I kept the other in the brooder with my other goslings. I'm impressed with how she is caring for the babies! Her, her sister and their mate are all taking turns caring for them. The male is a chinese, they are all about 1 year old. He seemed so happy to see babies!!!
